New Satellite School in Kentucky
A new satellite school in south central Kentucky began classes on January 6th. It is affiliated with the Alvaton Church of Christ in Alvaton, Kentucky. Bobby Vann and Randy Wells are facilitators and administrators. They have sixteen students enrolled, three of which are enrolled as Level Two Students. Students at this Intermediate Level devote themselves to completing all 40 courses, memorizing assigned passages, and written exams. They began by studying the Distinctive Nature of the Church taught by Ed Wharton, Instructor of SIBI.
The Alvaton satellite school is just the kind of school we want to see established. It has effective leadership with two administrators, an encouraging number of students, a love for Christ, and a desire for the study of God's word. We want to welcome the new Alvaton satellite school to the SIBI satellite school family.
